Visit Maldives has officially launched its largest global campaign for 2025, titled The World’s Biggest Giveaway. The initiative offers 52 holiday giveaways, one for each week of the year, starting from 1 January 2025.

The campaign will be hosted through a series of monthly social media contests on Visit Maldives’ platforms. Each month, four winners will be selected to receive exciting raffle prizes, with a total of 52 contests across the year. The giveaways will highlight the Maldives' wide range of attractions, from its famous beaches and vibrant culture to thrilling diving experiences and luxury retreats, catering to segments like romance, family, luxury, and diving.

The World’s Biggest Giveaway aims to enhance the Maldives’ position as a leading global destination, encouraging worldwide participation through social media engagement. The campaign will offer winners the chance to experience the Maldives’ unique offerings, promoting the destination as a year-round choice for travellers.

Visit Maldives remains focused on strengthening its position as the World’s Leading Destination and aims for consistent activity in the top 25 markets throughout 2025, supported by major summer campaigns and robust public relations efforts. The initiative also underscores the organisation’s goal of building strong industry partnerships to foster collective success.
